Forgot to add ingredient!!!!!

My mixer is currently kneading a half batch of Peter Reinhart's bagels from BBA, which I have made before, and I just realized I forgot to add the malt powder/honey/brown sugar.  I figured it was too late to add so I just let it keep kneading.  This may sound like a stupid question but, what can I expect these bagels to be like?  I'm gonna bake then and see what happens; maybe it will all be ok.  Any thoughts?

  They'll be a little pale , but should taste fine. Those ingredients , I believe, are used mostly for browning and just a little sweetness. As long as you have at least flour, yeast and liquid in your breads you should come up with something edible.
