Lucy did it. That white section is in tribute to her hero, Snoopy, lying on top of his doghouse. If you look at the left side as his head, there she is leaning down to hear him whisper sweet nothings...."It was a dark and stormy night..."
I'm sure I saw something like that in the Alien films . . . . just before the top opened up and a wriggly thing jumped out :-)
