Recently I have been getting away from white flour and leaning towards a healthier alternative for steak rolls, every now and then I like a cheese steak hoagie, anyone have any recipes I may try.
how about substituting 30% or so of the white flour with either white or red whole wheat flour? If you like that, you can then experiment with increasing the whole wheat fraction to find out if/where it gets to be more than you want.
