One of my favourite breakfasts. There is a place in Toronto that I try to go to when in the neighbourhood that makes the best bagels with cream cheese, lox, a few capers and onion. It is a bit of a local dive but can't beat the food.
girls favorite in Phoenix. They love the bagels but it is the lox he carries that is the best ever. Will surprise the girls with a treat on Thursday morning for sure. If nothing else, bagels and lox proves there is a God!
Lox refers to salmon cured in a salt-sugar rub or brine (like gravlax). Nova is cured and then cold-smoked(unlike lox or gravlax). There's also hot-smoked salmon, which is cured, then fully cooked with heated woodsmoke
Thankfully I love all 3 and they are all great on bagels. Have fun in LA Abe. We have had a lot of rain in the SW this year so far.
