by what is considered 'gold plated science' today when it is based on the huge sample of.....20 people. 2nd, most folks don't have IBS, maybe why the sample was so small, so any bread grain will do just fine for them.
Thirdly, my theory is that it all has to do with the number of chromosomes in the grain and the more lutein the grain contains - the fewer chromosomes and more lutein the better for human consumption :-)

I just tacked on the Kamut test, it had 22. But the blood tests are interesting...
I'll bet that Kamut is high in lutein too ....being that durum yellow color. The blood test tell the tale...
