After seeing David's scrumptious cinnamon roll's we just had to have some...so I thought as long as I was doing sourdough recipes from the Northwest Sourdough site I would give these a try! They turned out with a wonderful flavor....I bet the midnite snacker shows up tonite.
I put these in my favorite cinnamon rolls pan I've had forever...it's an old daisy wilton cake pan!
Im still learning a lot about sourdough...these taste really good so it was worth the effort!

Those look delicious! My son is looking over my shoulder and says "YUM!" I was watching a video from Northwest sourdough on shaping that Howard posted elsewhere. I'll have to go find that recipe.
How did they turn out? Are they sweet? We love cinnamon rolls and I'm always looking for uses for my starter.

They are very delicious...I also saw Howard's post and it was what encouraged this bake...I hadn't watched that video in a long time...so I checked in on the recipes and special recipes to see what I would bake! The rolls are very nice with a very mild sourdough flavor that's lovely and sweet. I used my Northwest starter for this batch and it worked nicely. My husband loves cinnamon rolls!!

I've never tried sourdough cinnamon rolls. They sound (and look) great.
Thank you Floyd!....first sourdough ones for me....they are wonderful...so much healthier !?!? The midnite snacker came in from work last nite and ate several...glad I put some in the freezer to keep him from hurting himself!! : )

Those look absolutely scrumptious! I have only been on this site for less than two weeks, and I honestly believe I've gained a lot of pounds just by looking at all the baked goodies here.
