It's coming up to Shrove Tuesday on the 13th of February. This is known in the UK as Pancake Day. Was just wondering if you're interested in another Community Bake celebrating this day? The only rule is it has be pancakes. Other then that all variations on this theme would be welcome.
P.s. Just as a matter of interest pancakes in the UK do differ the the USA variation (see photo above). In the UK pancakes thin, like a wrap, so they can be folded with fillings on the inside. They can be savoury or sweet. You can't go wrong with sweet pancakes filled with melted chocolate and strawberries. Every variation and your own personal creations would be most welcome.
So crepes and US pancakes would fit? How about Chinese "scallion pancakes"?
UK pancakes are actually more like, or interchangeable, with crepes. However scallion pancakes are actually a dough so wouldn't be included.
You have made an interesting point... crepes aren't called pancakes but will be accepted while scallion pancakes are called pancakes but wouldn't be accepted.
I think the one and only rule is an egg/flour batter pancake/crepe be it UK or USA style. Sweet or Savoury.
Terminology strikes again!
Let's do it!

I will make a live YouTube video. Outlining the entire process of making the crepe manicotti. Should be fun and a nice tribute to my mom near here birthday.
And was wondering if I should go ahead with this community bake.
Might be a good idea, if you do make a video, to try and organise a community bake yourself and use the video you make as a presentation as an idea for a recipe.
That sounds like a lot of work. I'll just do a stand alone post for my Strome day video.
