I am missing idaveindy

He hasn’t posted in a while. Does anybody know where he went?

But I was also wondering about this today 🫠🫠🫠

Yippee

Yes, I was wondering where he was - frequent poster, down to zero. Hope he's OK.

Also Paul/Gadjowheaty, a prolific poster a while ago; I know he had some health problems...

For a TFL friend. For me, there is power in prayer. Maybe it's all in the placebo effect maybe it's more than that?

I'm also missing his posts. He has been very helpful to me over the past year as I got back into bread baking.

Would Floyd know anything about his account? I don't mean to pry, though.

The most earnest TFLer I have ever seen. Everything from his book sale notices to his welcoming of new members or his deep dive oven problem solving. The way that he manned the help line during the pandemic crush. Even his treatise about Indian grocery store flours or just any flour from anywhere. He excelled at so much of it that I thought he must be getting paid or at least deserved to be paid for it. I know that he was a really just a charitable guy who wanted to do anything he could for this community and often did. Perhaps it’s as simple as his computer went down and he is unable to connect with us.
Until he returns I am going to believe that he suddenly won the lottery and is off on a world tour of flat breads and if he doesn’t then Godspeed Idaveindy

My brother Dave passed in October  2022.

Your brother was a great guy. He will be missed & remembered here at our humble bread club. Every now and then stop by and search his name. Gone but never forgotten. RIP

Will F.

I am so sorry for your loss, my deepest condolences.  Dave will be so missed by so many here, I know I miss his contributions.

Benny

I am very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed Dave's posts. He was usually the first to welcome new members with a friendly greeting. I had several enjoyable interactions with him during my short time on this site. MTloaf's comments above really sums up who he was to us here at The Fresh Loaf.

Please accept my condolences.

We were all wondering what happened to him. Never knew him personally however through this site we exchanged ideas and interacted frequently. Dave will be missed. My condolences.

He was a good man. His contributions to this community went above and beyond. We will never see his like again.

So sorry for your loss. Your brother made a strong impact here and has been missed. Thank you also for giving us all closure.
