So I was at Ikea last night and I saw they were selling bundles of willow canes for $5.99. Being a big experimenter I figured I really needed to try my hand at this. Besides at $30+each I could never afford to buy one. So I just wondered, has anyone tried this? the canes they are selling are a bit brittle so I figre I need to soak them but all I know is if this works I will be VERY excited. I will try to post some images as I start the project if anyone is interested.
The best part of my day yesterday though, was ordering my KA Pro-600 for $269 new from Amazon I got in just in time as they are listed at $339 lowest price now. The tracking said I will be receiving it tomorrow which seems strange since I picked Super Saver free shipping but I figure mabye with something this expensive mabye that is free.
Here's a post from a while ago. There are a few others, one made with plastic tubing! Use the search box and you'll find them. This one was particularly well done. You have to scroll down to a post by tomsbread on 2-24-07.
