Planning to tackle Panettoni this year?

Go figure, in just a short few hours the price went up, $1.80. I paid $12.12! Get it while it's hot! (Affordable) Smile...

6"X4" Paper molds

I shop the canned good aisles for the right sized cans. My panettone were always smaller than standard so it worked out. It was actually necessity since I couldn't find the baking paper kind the first year. Then I already had the cans and was good to go. The hardest part was finding cans that weren't internally coated. Also, you have to ignore the ridges on the sides. :)

I'm always on the lookout at estate sales and thrift stores for a panettone tin that has a removable bottom.

Too expensive at the new price for something I make so infrequently.
