ISO Rofco b40

Profile picture for user Pharmakultur bakery

Hello all, we’re looking for a Rofco b40 for our small sourdough bakery. If you know anyone looking to sell, it would be much appreciated! Located in KY, willing to travel.  ~ Russ from Pharmakultur Bakery

With restaurants closing left and right, there should be a glut of restaurant equipment, including ovens on the used market.

So, check with restaurant supply stores in all major cities around you, Lexington, Louisville, Evansville, Elizabethtown, Paducah, Bowling Green, Nashville, etc.

Equipment _repair_ companies may have snapped some up, so check with them too.

Good luck, and congrats on staying in business.

And, please, revisit this thread with a status update, to let us know what kind oven you bought and where/how you acquired it.

Have you had any luck with where to find any B40s? I’ve looked all around where I am, and in the same types of places that the other commenter suggested and these ovens seem fairly elusive.

So, no luck finding a Rofco b40, but I was able to score a b20 two weeks ago, so that’s some help but we still really need the larger capacity of a b40. The search continues!

Hey idaveindy thanks for the reply.

Are you able to provide any information on the Nero 400? Because in my searches previous to your kind recommendation I have found zero information about that oven other than the link you provided. I spoke with a restaurant supply store distributer and they too said they could a find zero information on that oven. I begin to suspect it to be a scam due to the combo of: lack of information, a US cell phone number and a foreign representative. When that is the situation when shopping cars online (my friend works for an antique car buyer and seller) it is 100% a scam each time those criteria are in place.

If that isn't the case I am very curious as to where I can locate one of these ovens and find more information on them.

Thanks!
