We recently received the Mockmill 200 I ordered for my niece and I was curious about how to use the mill for working with corn and in particular referring to grits and cornmeal for southern style cornbread.
I saw this thread below and I think the consensus there is to use dent corn (not popcorn) for these tasks:

But I was wondering if there are any updates with regards to using the Mockmill 200 mill to successfully complete these tasks? Thank you.
I grind on finest setting and sift using a # 40 sieve. You can adjust the stones to get a finer grind than the factory setting. Do a Google search on how to adjust.
Have fun.
Thank you, isand66. You use the finest setting for grinding the corn for both grits and cornbread?
Also, where do you get your dent corn from? I'm still searching for a good farm to buy some corn to grind (wheat berries, etc too).
