I got a Hobart C100 and found out that this product was discontinued many many years ago. Therefore, I think I need to collect all the information and parts information.

What is the minimum recipe size for the c100 to effectively mix?
Hello,
All this depends of what you need to mix (dough, batter, egg whites...) and if you have the reduction kit (with the 3qt bowl it becomes more efficient than a basic kitchenaid). However for very small batches you should consider if this is worth it compared to a manual work.
I mainly make pizza dough and bagels
Is there a spiral dough hook available for the c100?
Is there a spiral dough hook available for the c100?
I have a Hobart C-100 that has started to sometimes leak "dark colored oil" into my batter. I make bagels and I see streaks from time to time and have to throw the dough out. I tried to access the files that you have for a tear down in hopes that I can go in and fix whatever is wrong, but they are no longer there. Can I please have copies? I can't find any information for the C-100 on line. I have ordered the Mobil grease from Amazon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you still looking for files? Here's a link to all the manuals I've been able to find:

Did you ever get any replies or help on how to fix your mixer? I have one and I'm trying to remove the planetary gear assembly but have not found a way to attach a puller to the disk.
If your machine is still leaking, you are going to have to do the same as what I want to do. Unfortunately, Hobart will no longer touch these obsolete machines (I talked to them today), let alone service them. No parts are available, and they can only use Hobart manufactured parts. The reason I said you will have to pull the planetary is there is an oil seal around the shaft to which the dough hook attaches. That might be a source of your oil. I've not yet gotten to my oil seal so I do not know if one can be found to fit...but oil seals are pretty standard and are described by two dimensions - the diameter into which they seat and the shaft diameter.
The big stainless steel collar around that rotating plate (the mixer shaft sticks through it) is called the Drip Cup. Once removed, you will see the lower edge is bent inward to catch any oil leaking around the perimeter of the big disc. Perhaps if you pulled the drip cup off and cleaned it, it might catch any drips from around the disk.
I'm starting a new thread called Hobart C-100 Update. Replay there if you see this.
