Tech Trial

There’s a lot here, that I haven’t figured out yet, tech-wise.  Like how you can attach pictures.  Let me know if this works.  It has been a challenge, to do, and maybe it’s just a compatibility issue, with my iPhone.  But, I will try it this way.  I still don’t know if it will work.

I thought my sourdough days were behind me, but this home isolation is making old things (skills) new again.  People in my home & many friends and neighbors seem happy to have my bread, as I have been baking, and giving 4-5 loaves away, every day.  Like someone once said; home baked bread, even if it didn’t turn out perfect, is usually better than a lot of store bought breads, and is always a welcome thing.  I’m super glad to have found this forum!  I have enjoyed reading all the posts, new & old.  There is a lot of knowledge here.

I asked the site admin to elevate your privileges, you should be able to post images very soon. I’ll post back once they are set.

Danny

Floyd told me that you already had the correct privileges.

Can you explain what you are doing when you try to upload?

When I have gone to add a photo, I tap on the little photo icon.  It lets me access & select one of my photos.  I upload the photo, but (this is where the trouble is) the window that pops up for the upload & to finalize things is wider than my screen, and I have no way to access whatever button you are supposed to tap & make it happen.  I figure it is a compatibility issue, with my Apple device.

It looks like you should just be able to scroll down/over/whatever, to tap on the next step, but the screen just won’t do that.  When I try, I can see that there’s more there, but it won’t hold a new position, so that I can tap whatever is next, it just snaps back to where it was.

Cathy, it works for me. I sent this from my iPhone. Try turning you phone horizontal and see if that helps.

It is a pain using iPhone, though. I use iPad. Are you using iPhone?

Let me know how it goes.

It’s an iPhone, yes.  Horizontal hold is a great idea.  It didn’t work, though.  I have an update that I haven’t done, though.  I’m going to try to do that & see if that resolves my issue.  Thanks!

I guess that update I’ve been putting off really was something I needed to get to! ?‍♀️ Who knew?  Seriously, though, thanks for all your help!
