I wanted to share a wonderful bread podcast series I've been listening to - as I'm sure others here would really enjoy it. It's from Farmerama Radio and is called 'Cereal'. There are 6 episodes that go from the farmers, bread history, soil and seed through to sourdough baking and the future of grains. In a podcast app, if you search for Farmerama radio and scroll down a little on their list of episodes, you should be able to find it.
Love to hear responses from anyone who has a listen.
I'll give it a listen
I'm going to listen to the last one in the series today.
I have listened to some of your podcast before. I took another look today. Excited to see a Darra Goldstein episode. I bought her bought last month and love it! I am going to try her barley and rye mini loaves cooked in cabbage skin next.
I want to do the black salt too...have done the bread kvass with my home made rye. Have you tried molinorosso.com? I got some rye flour there last week.
I was previously getting segale and farro integrale from Naturasi in Florence. But finding their online checkout shut most of the time, I started searching for other options. This place isn't the only to sell chicchi here, but is is the first one I've bought from. We have berries here and are waiting for a mill to arrive. I'm quite excited :-)
I'll send you a DM, love to keep in touch.
are great! Thanks for the tip
...and it gave me goose-pimples. A sign of a good podcast. I hope you enjoy the rest.
