Hello from Kansas

Toast

I have been learning from The Fresh Loaf for a few years now. I am concentrating on baking rye bread, so of course I am familiar with Mini Oven. Is there a way to communicate with members of The Fresh Loaf specifically through the website?

click on the person's name, in their post or blog or comment.  (you have to be logged in.)   that takes you to their user page.  scroll down.  on the left you'll see a link to send the person a message, click that.

You and they have to be verified, meaning you have to have had responded to the verification email that the web site sent you.

Welxome to TFL.  I joined in Sep 2019.

Mini is one of my heros, er, heroines, too.  I could marry her crazy cat-lady aunt just to get some of Mini's bread at Christmas and Easter. ?

and now I know why!  Dave, you crack me up!  Paul is right there in Kansas!  But we are all stuck in our houses now aren't we?  So I guess the net is the answer.  And there are plenty of ryexperts here at TFL. :)

I put a state line in there!

Paul will be the first to tell me Kansas City isn't in Kansas.  Lol!

Some of my earliest memories are of Kansas.  Salina to be exact.  A long long time ago.  Early 60's.

Where in Kansas? I'm baking out in Hays! (Run Cathy's Breads, a small, home-based bakery).

is that there is no need to be shy about asking questions openly.  Chances are good there is more than one person wanting to know the answer or find a solution.  We pick up a lot of tips off each other.  And disasters and flub-ups are one of our favourite topics of conversation....to find solution or figure out "why" something happens or how to make home baking easier for you. (Or to show you we've done the same or worse.)

You will have to sort thru advice finding out what works for you in your own kitchen.  Just ask.
