We are doing a kitchen renovation, and I would really like to incorporate a b20. Ideally it would go into our island next to some cabinets under the counter. Has anybody does this? Does the top get too hot?
and I think it would fit under the counter lenghtwise as approx 82cm...However, I personally would be worried about the impact the heat could have on the surrounding units on top and also on the sides of it......
I have it on a stand so that loading is quite comfortable....you need to load and steam the oven, either using the steam pods or a garden spritzer and I find doing this with the Rofco a bit higher up safer and easier to manage than having it sit on the ground and loading the oven...
depending on the load there will be a fair amount of steam coming out of the vents in the front. If you go to the various Rofco hashtags on IG you can see videos on this.
I am truly no expert and less steam comes out of the B20 compared to the B40. However, not sure how the steam could affect the units when it rises and could cause warping etc. Just sharing thoughts based on using my B20 for about a year now....Happy baking... Kat
If you live in the states you can call Pleasant Hill Grains and ask them. They are the US importers for Rofco and their tech support is outstanding.

"The only siting requirement is that 1.2" of space needs to be maintained between the oven and other surfaces. Rofco ovens require no venting."

Thanks everyone! I looked at some videos, and it really seems like keeping it away from our new cabinets to prevent warping is a good idea.
