Problem with after market dough hook for my Hobart C-100 mixer

Hi Everybody,

I hope someone can help me. I have a Hobart C-100 mixer and needed to purchase an after-market dough hook. It went on fine, but now I cannot remove it. Has anyone had this issue, and if so, what did you do?

try heating the hook with a heat gun and remove wearing oven gloves
