This time a simple 4 ingredient Artisan bread.
Made a couple mistakes but I really like this bread. I believe I got the dough too wet. The recipe said don't over mix and I guess I didn't. I got a little pocket of flour in it lol. I already started another batch of this but added some more flour so it won't be as wet. We'll see what happens. When I say a little wet, it;s because the dough wants to spread out and and was impossible to form a ball as the recipe says.

How'd it taste?
One word " great" According to the recipe photo I should be getting a "taller' loaf. I seem to have trouble in that area.

You got nice crumb, though, and it tasted good, so it sounds like success. You'll get the feel for the dough. You should have seen the brick I baked for my first loaf.
good crumb...start with a hydration you can handle. Best thing is to work out your percentages (from the recipe) and drop water amount...
