I can see it now.. this love affair of yours with your KA will lead you to write a book about your journey.. then the screen play.. and finally someone will buy the movie rights and cast Priyanka Chopra to play the lead actress!!.. whatever happens.. don't let your family tell you it's a phase.. it looks like true love! :) And dang! Thanks bread1965, its great when you get a longed for toy. Most woman don't want appliances for xmas, but I am delighted...The book is started with the star of the show being Matilda in all her redness....lol....and the burger buns worked a treat...still trying to adjust to Matilda ....maybe try cookies today.
I got a new KA Artisan 5 for christmas last year. I absolutely love it. I've made cakes, cookies & bread so far. I'm going to try sourdough sweet rolls for the holidays.
I'm really glad you finally got one. I think that only people who love cooking understand this.:) Yes, there is a learning curve.
I have been giving her a workout everyday...the freezer is overflowing with bread...lol. I am still trying to get to grips with dough clinging to the bottom of the bowl . But it is producing a lovely soft dough...I will find the formula...lol.I am covering all the baking goods too, cakes biscuits breads no sourdough yet still have to work up to that...I am really happy with my new machine I just hope she lasts a long time. I will make sure not to overwork her and hope for the best.. But it’s great to have someone else working with one. I have been wondering if I should try and get a spiral hook. I’m not to fond of the C hook but will work with it awhile to see if I can get use to it. Any tips will be much appreciated...
