Yea for me.
I don't understand the lure of "unboxing" videos, so I won't bother any of you with pictures of the box, etc.
However, I have some Einkorn from Breadtopia and I will certainly post pictures of the milled grain.
If anyone wants a video, respond to the post and let me know. I will probably begin playing around with it tomorrow.

look forward to hearing how it goes

Leslie:
Last night I decided to grind my first batch of grain. In order to clean the machine from dust, so forth, it recommends grinding some grain. I had some who knows what hard red wheat that I picked up in Canada that I decided to sacrifice.
I need to keep working on it, but it went really well.

I am still waiting to hear back from our local suppliers. I am not in a rush so I think I can be patient ....

The way of the universe. I had never heard of the Mockmill till yesterday. Now today I see a post about this very item! While walking around the Union Sq. farmers market, I stumbled in on a Mockmill demo. I was quite interested in the Kitchen aid attachment. I own a pro. series kitchen aid mixer, with a powerful motor. The small size and $100.00 discount compared to the stand alone unit was enticing. However since I can find fresh local grains at the market, I feel I don't need to start milling at home. Maybe someday.
I have used the KA attachment, and it's a worthy machine. I decided, after using it, to invest in the Mockmill 100. I don't make it down to the Union Sq. farmers' market, but maybe I should make the effort.
