Old Hobart 10qt Mixer

Toast

I recently acquired my Grandfather's old 10qt Hobart mixer he used in his Chicago Bakery back in the 1930s. I was told it was from 1914. How would I go about authenticating it's manufacture date. I am a 3rd generation Baker and this mixer has a lot of sentimental value to me. All the numbers on the manufacture stamp are legible.

Hello,
This is the motor plate which will not give you information about your machine. You should also find another plate screwed on the frame (on the right side) giving the machine exact type and its serial number. Regards.

A local Tampa representative from Hobart Service called me back and was able to date the mixer. It is a C10 model. The motor stamp is the only stamp on this model and the serial number is actually the number with the NO listed at the top. It is a 1936 model.

Ok, many thanks for the information, since I ever thought there was separate plates over these machines.
Regards,
