Let's switch to beer, barley uses less energy than wheat. (I just made that up, but it sounds good.) and we can use the spent grain to feed those evil cattle. After all it is now Lent and beer is liquid bread. Some of the best strong beers were in fact brewed for food during Lent.

a case of Chimay. Those Trappist Monks make fine bread, cheese and great beer to wash it down.
