Toast

Finally getting back into the groove, though still have not done the challah challenge. Here is a nice 100 percent whole wheat sourdough sandwich bread or really just as good for butter and bread. Made with yogurt.

As you can see, most of the bread has been consumed. It is definitely the crumb of a bread that has oil and dairy in it. Nice and soft.

As you can see from the crust photo, I should have slashed a little deeper because that oven spring kind of blew open the top. I like the look, though I realize it does not have a polished style. But then again, I will take oven spring over appearance because I always feel like it is a miracle that my sourdough starter works so incredibly well.
