have SF taking all the credit for white SD bread now could they? Yours is a fine example. Has to taste great.
Well done and happy homemade breadbaking
mostly b/c of the flours. It's 3 days, Levain on day 1, dough making and bulk rise on day 2 and bake on day 3. I think I've slowly converted husband to liking sourdough. He was brought up in KY on white air-bread.... so this is an accomplishment.
Thanks again

This looks so good. Well done Hester :)
I love the crumb. It's no surprise your family is being converted to team sourdough with great looking bread like that :)
Happy baking!
2016 Bread challenge was really lovely. WIsh I could have some w butter. Just pure bread and butter.

I love the crumb. Looks nice and moist, just like a Tartine bread. Well done!!!
simple breads, well made, are often so good aren't they. :)
well done
Leslie
In the end my favorites are the simpler ones.
Crust and crumb are gorgeous! I agree with leslie, these simple breads are so good and I also slowly converted my family to these sourdough breads. I can say that my entry for this challenge is my new favorite bread. Heavenly on its own or just with butter!
yourself. And so so creative and inspirational.
Thanks
