Rustic Bread?

Toast

Can someone aim me in the right direction? Looking for a, I think, Italian bread recipe? Moist, not dry and crusty, chewy/al dented, spongy interior large holes. For bread machine.

Or any recommendation? Do you want yeasted or sourdough?

There are many recipes that fit that description not only Italian.

Can you get the crust you want from a bread machine? Can you get hold of Durum Wheat flour?

What bread machine do you have?

when baked 'rustic; buyt my favorite on with that title is Pierre Nury's Rustic Light Rye.  It is basically a white bread with a wee bit if rye in it - ut you can out other whole grains in it too.  If you search on this site my favorite version is one by Zola Blue - one of the best breads ever posted on The Fresh Loaf in my book

Happy baking
