Hello! I found this site about a week ago and have been enjoying baking bread ever since. Today's loaf was good enough to make me want to thank everyone here for this great site. It's an alteration of the first loaf recipe by adding spices and olive oil, replacing half of the water with milk, and raising the baking temperature. Deliciously fluffy and soft on the inside.

Welcome and glad you enjoyed the loaf. If you don't mind, I like to ask this question. Why do you consider this an Italian loaf?
Mainly it's because of the olive oil and Italian spices, I'm probably using my terminology wrong.
