Hi! I started to make bread this year after receiving a bread machine as a gift (now I use this as a mixer, and bake in home oven). Got much trouble-shooting information from this site in the learning process, so eventually decided to join the forum.
Anyone from east Asia? I'm eager to exchange bread recipes with Asian ingredients(e.g. Black rice + soy milk is so good....).

您好。我叫周可。我從菲律賓來。Hi! I am from South East Asia and I also love incorporating our local ingredients in breads. My latest bread 東愛 Dong Ai is very East Asian influenced. I'm also crazy for oriental (mostly Chinese) pastries, I baked mooncakes before and my golden syrup is still around almost one year old.
Home made mooncakes! That's really impressive.
Never thought of making that sophisticated stuff at home.......
Here is my first shot with mooncakes. I don't have those fancy molds. What do you think? I'm also planning to bake some Taiwanese pineapple cakes in the future.
形狀確實不如店裡賣的,但是你的豆沙看起來比台灣有名的店裡賣的還好吃!
The shape is not fancy of course, but the bean paste look so tasty, I guess it taste even better than store-bought one.
If you know the hardship he has to overcome to bake, you'll be amazed by his accomplishments.
歡迎你來到TFL, 我來自香港, 現居美國.
Ni hao, I visit Taiwan annually - sometimes twice a year - in Pingzhen/Chung-li. I don't have an oven so do stovetop bhaturas.
Where do you live?
I iike the Costco stove top oven but before buying need to find english instructions, maybe online.

I live in Taichung city. A city with several great artisan bakeries, also a convenient place to live in, but the traffic and air is bad.
