I'll be visiting Northern Italy to hike in the Alps near the Matterhorn, also visiting areas in the vicinity of Milano. We would love to visit artisan bakeries.
Please offer suggestions! We have a car, so small, off-the-beaten locales are fine.
Thanks in advance! (We'll make sure to take photos and share. :-) )
The roads can often be quite narrow around Lago di Maggiore between the Alps and Milano. Don't zip too fast thru this beautiful area. Enjoy it!
Take note that the circles at intersections vary from country to country. In Italy, one has to yield when in a circle to incoming traffic. In Austria, one yields before entering the circle. Caution! Not sure of Switzerland.
You should check out this place. Camia Bed & Breakfast, Lake Como
