Hey everyone,

I'm sort of new--I've posted a handful of times but not done a formal introduction here on the forums. So here goes--I'm Katie. I'm located in the SF Bay area and I've been into baking for roughly a year now. I started off by making volume-based bread recipes out cookbooks I liked and started experimenting tweaking recipes after a couple month. I grew my own sourdough starter last September, and I've mostly been baking with sourdough since.

I'm interested in pretty much all types of breadcraft, though--I use all kinds of flour (with a particular focus on rye); bake, griddle and steam; leaven with SD, commercial yeast, and baking powder. I'm curious about everything haha.
