Was wondering if there is any additives that actually work to keep scones fresher longer, for my mail order business. I want to add scones to my menu, however they dry out so quickly and I want to make sure i am selling high quality productservice only. Any ideas other than vacuum packing?
A cream scone should keep a nice mouth-feel for quite sometime. Seems that buttermilk (aka biscuit scones) dry out very quickly, even just sitting on my counter for a day or so.
