Hi there, I'm Kerry, and I stumbled upon this site a few weeks ago when googling info on sourdough.
I've been baking as a hobby for about 5 years, and started making bread about a year ago, when my wonderful husband bought me a 7-qt Kitchenaid mixer.
The art and science of sourdough appeals to my geeky science background, and I've been dabbling with it for a few weeks now.
I actually have a question about why my sourdough has been a dismal failure, and I'm going to hop over to that forum now, but I wanted to give a quick intro first.
