Any one want to practice on their braiding skills? Even if your not wanting to make an alligator, this video made me UNDERSTAND how to braid more than 3 braids at the time. I had it on paper, but I still didn't "get it". I had to do and re-do. Maybe it will help some of you too. I hope it isn't too simple for most of you, I have braided a lot, but this guy made it easy and understand-able. I feel like now I could do a 12 braid and not bat an eye. I just wish his logo wouldn't have been in the way. ANYWAY, I hope it helps some of you too.

I wish it had the final product at the end. I get lost in those videos when I start. I look at one then another, and another. This was the first time I had posted a link, I'm glad it worked.

that made it all make sence to me. If you have ever read the instructions on one of those 6 or more braids, it can make your blood pressure go very high before you finish. All that bring # 5 over#2 skipping #'s 3,4, and 1 can make you loose your mind. They all look alike and they are dough does not come numbered! Its funny how one simple word like basketweaving can make the lightbulb go off.
And yes utube is great!
Thanks for posting that link. It's definitely a lot easier to understand how to braid bread when you see someone doing it rather than static diagrams. (I think the alligator bread would have been huge though. The feet alone were made from 1 lb "sausages" of dough!)
