I see repeated postings here from people asking about Delices and Gourmandises. There are also periodic postings from "satisfied customers" that appear at intervals to sing the praises of the company and its products. Those sound so much like a shill that I indulged my curiosity to find out a bit more about the company.
It didn't take long to turn up some interesting information. For instance, their repeated emphases on winning large sums of money or a flat screen TV or a new computer are always accompanied by a requirement to purchase product. The products themselves tend to be greatly overpriced (one individual said they could get the equivalent at Aldi's for a quarter of the price). The company also appeared to be targeting the elderly.
The capper was an article about the conviction of a Mr. Meniru of Bedford, England, for his fraudulent enterprises that include Delices and Gourmandises.
So, if you want to order from D and G, you are at liberty to do so. Just remember that you are apt to pay a lot more than the product is worth and that your likelihood of receiving a prize is vanishingly small.
