Simple rustic levain with sunflower seeds

This used a mix of my two starters - wheat and rye. Pretty straight forward with some sunflower seeds added for crunchy deliciousness.

Didn't get a crumb shot. I have the family convinced that "by law" they have to cool for awhile and that gives me time for a shot of the crust. But, all bets are off after that.

This was a 70% hydration loaf. 150g each wheat and rye starter.
