Can someone tell me where to get the little chocolate bars that are used in pain au chocolate? I used them in Montana making pastries with Mark Sinclair & didn't think to write down the name & where to get them.
We buy most of our chocolate from Qzina, just stacked 50 25 kg boxes thought I deserved a break now. They sell both chocolate for production and a large variety of decorating items.
looks like world wide chocolate did the trick. Callebaut dark chocolate batons 8cm long 300 ct box looks pretty darn familiar. Thanks for the help, that box will make me 100 pain au chocolates. My family & friends are going to love this.
Glad I could help. And I just got my latest order from them today! Worldwide and Chocosphere seem to have the largest selection of chocolates I have found, though I don't buy wholesale, and some of the companies with fewer brands may have better prices on the large amounts.
What size were those bars? [u][url=http://worldwidechocolate.com/shop_chocolate_squares.html]Worldwide Chocolate[/url][/u] has many brands of squares, or maybe if you check out their brand list, it will trigger your memory as to the brand name.
They were about 3"x 1/2" x 3/8" made primarily for baking I think.
