Wanting to make something novel for a fish fry this weekend, I tried out an idea.  With the Yeast cornmeal recipe from 'Bread' ,  this is my first attempt at shaping to look like a fish.

  Crumb.   Seemed to be a bit heavy, but I really don't know how it is supposed to be.  Has a good taste; crunchy crust... 

A novel way to shape the bread. I like it! With cornmeal the crumb has to be heavy. Using a soaking step for the cornmeal may help lighten it somewhat. Ford
