Thanks browndog and Trish.
These are really great with coffee.
Trish, in case you bring them to the office: the icing will slightly melt if the rolls are kept in an airtight container. Paper bags or a cardboard box (like those for donuts) work best.
:-)
I checked it out today and it looks like it has some great recipes so I've added it to my Bloglines list. If it's yours - good job! If not, thanks for pointing me to it.
Trish
I just put a batch of this dough together (like 10 minutes ago) and the recipe didn't say when to add the cinamon so I left if out accidentally (probably should have gone into the cocoa and flour mixture). Can I go back and put it in the mixer and try to knead the cinnamon into it? Also doesn't say how much salt so since it was 3.5 cups of flour I used a teaspon...Need a response soon!
Thanks guys!
Trish
That's just what I did. I hauled it out of the bowl, gently stretched it and sprinkled the cinnamon down the middle then folded a few times, kneaded it a little and put it back in the bowl to rise. I'll let you know how it turns out. That's what I get for not thoroughly reading a recipe :-0.
Trish
Trish, I apologize for not realizing I had not included the amount of salt (1/4 tsp) and that the cinnamon had to be sifted with the cocoa and flour. I just corrected the post. Thank you for pointing it out! Baking History is actually my blog, thank you for adding it to your favorites!!!
And thank you BrownDog, for your advice-- I read Trish's question just now and my answer would have been too late...
:-)
