Buckwheat berries with hull on them?

Toast

I just bought a bag of buckwheat berries from the bosch store today, and when I got home, I realized they still have the papery "hull" on them.  Can I grind them as-is to use for buckwheat flour? I can't imagine removing the hulls one by one, that would take forever!

Nope: but you can plant them in a garden, makes a great covercrop adds nitrogen to soil

but if you want them dehulled, try rolling them in a cloth to take the hulls off, and then winnowing them (tossing them in front of a fan to remove the bran or the hulls) do this outside or inside a large cardboard box to keep the hulls from inundating everything in the house.
