Did you notice the black disc in one of the very first scenes used to transfer the flat bread to the oven?
I learned about that here. It's used in Middle Eastern countries to stretch and shape flatbreads. And, from the video, to transfer them to the oven!
Those guys sure know how to cook for a crowd. Great video, thanks for sharing.

You see a video like that! Thanks a lot, david
It was so interesting to watch but I wish I knew more about what they were making. These videos send me searching for more information about the people. Thanks for posting.
Going to get my husband to watch this. Equivalent to virtual armchair travels for the cook/baker.
Hi everyone, thank you for your comments.
It's amazing isn't it?
I look at the underground steaming of the meat with the herbs and just think oooooooooooooooooh yes please! I bet it tastes and smells fantastic!!
I loved how they all worked together - amazing.
My brother found the video, I'm trying to get him to join thefreshloaf.com.
He always seems to find interesting things on the internet :)
Take care - have a nice weekend.

This is making me hungry, and very nostalgic!
I spent some time in Uzbekistan a while back, as a student. Very nice people - welcoming, warm and vey hospitable.
A lot of the food was wonderful, stuff I could only dream of eating now!
