Anyone baked Reinhart's Sweet Rustic Bread from C&C?

Has anyone baked this bread? It's described in Crust & Crumb as having big translucent holes almost resembling a pastry. It makes quite a bit so I haven't done it yet though.

 

Any experiences and even better photos of this thing? 

I did. didn't get quite the result i was expecting. Just like a slightly sweet ciabatta with some icing sugar on top. nice enough but nothing to write home about. But i did skip the retarding phase so i don't know how much that would effect it.
