barm cakes

They are a sort of north of England speciality. Up north they or most think they are better than sliced bread, I'm a Londoner, so can't really see what they rave about. It's kind of sourdough roll, Ok but not worth all the raving about them, :-)))) qahtan
If you don't mind, can u tell me the recipe for making barm cakes? ;) They seem to look interesting.
