remember some time ago I was looking for a toast loaf pan,,, a single as commercial ones come in 3 or 4 and weigh far too much for me to use..
any way this is what came in the mail this morning, with a card saying it was the Easter Bunny... It was a very kind person in Bristol UK that sent it to me,, very nice eh, I love it... wanted to show every one how lucky I am,,,, ;-)))))) qahtan
Does your easter bunny have a sister? I'd like to pick one of those up.
Ok, what exactly do you do with it. Do you bake bread in it? And if so why do you call it a toast loaf pan?
That thing is way cool looking...it would sure make slicing a loaf of bread neater and easier to do.
A lovely form for the art of toasting bread!
Betty, to answer the questions, as you know toast bread is bread that fits nicely into a toaster. A toast loaf pan is a baking pan designed to form a loaf of bread specifically for toasting. As you pointed out, it looks like it is easier to cut. Toast loaf pans are designed so that when the finished loaf is cut into slices and toasted, each slice presents itself (like a little canvas with frame) to formally introduce the food which is placed upon it. A formal yet fun serving idea.
I'm guessing we don't have these toast pans in the US?
Such lovely toast loaf pan. Someone should set up shop in China, I can't seem to locate such things here!
No, no, not China, any where but China...... ;-(((( qahtan
You must have been good and Easter Bunny knew it!
Al
I'm always good... well try to be, ;-))))) qahtan
That looks really interesting and I'd love to learn about it to see if we could get one. What's the company name and/or seller name? Did they show a web address? Please share whatever info you have.
Thanks, Eileen~
