ABsolutely love my ChefsChoice 610. I chose it because it slices thicker pieces than 1 1/2 inches and paperfine meats with the extra blade. Super easy to clean as well.
I've been very happy with my slicer. It slices a loaf of bread faster than I thought it would.. But in reality, I really don't need to preslice, since it does such a great job so I just slice when I need to...
I simply just dust the crumbs away and put my towel over the slicer till needed later. I love my slicer.
