Looks like a carbon copy. Great job Paul.
And it tastes even better than it looks.

Magnificent Paul, you're making me long for summer pie.

So I'll be able to enjoy them in the winter, too.

And we do eat with our eyes first. Yum.
But this really makes the mouth and tummy happy, too.

Tasty, fresh and beautiful, what more can one ask for?
Thanks!

Wow, awesome pie. It wasn’t really until our first visit to Vancouver a couple of years ago that we really tasted wild blackberries and became addicted to them. In fact it seemed that everywhere we went in and around Vancouver there were wild blackberries. We didn’t need to worry about getting our Vitamin C on that trip.
You are so lucky to have access to those berries and you did them proud with your pie. Delicious Paul.

However, when we visited northwestern Washington State and the Vancouver area, we were impressed by how widespread blackberries were. And by how big the bushes were, too. Sadly, we weren’t there when the berries were in season.
Yes, I’m very pleased by how the pie turned out. Pies aren’t part of my usual baking repertoire.

It is a good way to make a starter. Many have been created using these. Enjoy!
PS - they are also good looking pies!
While I was picking blueberries today, that notion occurred to me, too.
I’m sorry to report that the pie is now showing signs of severe damage. Well, a little bit sorry. Actually, I’m hardly sorry at all since it was me that inflicted about half of that damage.
