The most excellent big fat soft salty pretzel formula? I feel like Bavarian pretzels are a little harder that what I am seeking. Thank you in advance for your kindness.

I have been making pretzel rolls for a long time.  Just like your pizza, I've updated my recipe until I have it just right.  Try this formula and you will not be disappointed.  Just make them into pretzels instead of rolls.  You must use food-grade lye to get the real, authentic pretzel flavor and color.  https://mookielovesbread.com/2021/10/31/sour-dough-pretzel-rolls-2021/

You can substitute bread flour for the First clear or if you want all of the flour.

I am not to worried about real lye. I just want a fun family project.
