Hey fellow bakers,
I've recently been experimenting with cookie cakes and wanted to start a thread on flavor combos that really shine. Whether you're a fan of classic pairings or love to try something bold and new, I’d love to hear your go-to flavors.
Some of my favorites so far:
- Chocolate chip cookie base with peanut butter frosting
- Snickerdoodle cookie with a light cream cheese swirl
- Funfetti cookie cake with lemon glaze (surprisingly good!)
Do you have any unusual combinations that work better than expected? Or maybe a family favorite that never fails to impress?
Looking forward to hearing your creative ideas—and if you have pictures, even better!
Yummy! I have a replicable formula if you are interested.
Lemon Madeleines! I'm a sucker for anything lemon. But the madeleines themselves are already made of pound cake batter lol
Ginger three ways (candied, fresh, ground), cloves, cinnamon, molasses. Moist, rich, warm, and decadent.

This is a cake shop. The post is in the right section, the poster's bio is filled out, but it's an ad for the bakery. Maybe she genuinely wants new inspiration. I dunno. I'm just so suspicious because of all the scammers.
She prolly wanted to fish out new ideas. I feel betrayed tho. I feel like being used and manipulated lol
