Homebrew Doburoku or Bodaimoto Sake

Just wondering if anyone has ever made homebrew sake?

Doburoku or Bodaimoto seem to be the most accessible types for homebrewing and I'm tempted to have a go.

I have brewed wine and mead. Just want to echo Davey1... it doesn't have to be complicated and it is enjoyable but always follow a recipe from a reputable source and do it properly. Don't cut corners. Buy good ingredients, use the correct apparatus and make cleanliness a top priority. You can also find brewing forums to get some advice.
