BIG RED FACE! After watching a few more YouTube vids - I discovered the prob was not the machine - I just didn't manage the water correctly!
DISREGARD THE BALANCE OF THIS POST!
Just got a CBK-110p and both the rye recipe and basic white bread failed BADLY! On the white bread, I converted Cup & Spoons to grams and carefully made the stock 1.5 lb loaf. I did use bread flour V APF, but that shouldn't make THAT big a diff. The loaf mixed into a very weird, lumpy state and when finally finished was Tough and Tasteless! I sent an email to Cuisinart telling of this - and they sent back a terse email saying return to the vendor. SO - Back to Amazon it has gone - will be getting a dupe replacement.
Probably I made some HUGE mistake and there was nothing wrong with the machine but I lost confidence in it. When I ran the stock rye recipe the machine LABORED with the initial folding of the ingredients... I almost was afraid it was going to stall!
SO - Just wondering if there is anybody who has a Cuisinart CBK-110 that failed early in life.
