I have this mixer. I bought it over ten years ago I think on a similar discount.
I use it for bread dough, pasta dough (and I have the attachments to roll and cut pasta), cookie dough, whipping cream, whipping whites and yolks for cakes (medium speed produces a lovely tight foam for egg-leavened cakes).
I like making bread, pasta and cakes but I do not like hand kneading, pasta rolling or a lot of whisking. This machine works away on the counter while I do other parts of a recipe. Or for pasta rolling, I can crank up the speed and zip through rolling a bunch of dough down to thinnest setting when doing a 3-4 layer big lasagna which I did tonight.
Amazing machine. Love the lift bowl feature. My mother has the smaller artisan which requires lifting up the whole heavy head... hate that.

what a great deal! Thanks Yippee
I'm tempted to buy one just as a back up for my Ankarsrum or one I would be willing to destroy for a cottage goods business... That's a great price.
Couldn't resist. Had to pull the trigger on this one. I am now the proud owner of the ink-blue model.
"Yeast Mode" Bahahaha
"I'm just about that action boss."
